25:1

Book I: The Alphabetical Petition and the Secret of the Covenant

A Psalm of Dawid. Unto thee, O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, do I lift up my soul.
25:2

The Shield Against Shame

O my Alahiym, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
25:3
Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
25:4

The Petition for the Paths

Shew me thy ways, O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; teach me thy paths.
25:5
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the Alahiym of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

The Appeal to Ancient Rachamim

Remember, O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
25:7

The Pardon of the Past

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

The Instructor of the Erring

Good and upright is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
25:9

The Guidance of the Meek

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
25:10

The Covenant Frequency

All the paths of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
25:11

The Pardon for the Name's Sake

For thy name's sake, O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
25:12

The Fear of the Sovereign

What man is he that feareth 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

The Inheritance of the Seed

His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

The Secret of the Court

The secret of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Mine eyes are ever toward 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

The Cry of the Desolate

Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.

Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
