Then Elyashiyb the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Chananel.

And next unto him builded the men of Yeriycho. And next to them builded Zakuwr the son of Iymriy.

But the fish gate did the sons of Hassanah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

And next unto them repaired Maramoth the son of Uriyahu, the son of Qots. And next unto them repaired Mashullam the son of Barachyahu, the son of Mashezabel. And next unto them repaired Tzadok the son of Baana.

And next unto them the Teqowites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Adun.

Moreover the old gate repaired Yahuyada the son of Paseach, and Mashullam the son of Besodyahu; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

And next unto them repaired Melatyahu the Gibeonite, and Yadown the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mitspah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.

Next unto him repaired Uzziyel the son of Charhayahu, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Chananyahu the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Yarushalayim unto the broad wall.

And next unto them repaired Rephayahu the son of Chur, the ruler of the half part of Yarushalayim.

And next unto them repaired Yedayahu the son of Charumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Chatush the son of Chashabnyahu.

Malkiyahu the son of Chariym, and Chashuub the son of Pachat-Moab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.

And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of the half part of Yarushalayim, he and his daughters.

The valley gate repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanowach; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.

But the dung gate repaired Malkiyahu the son of Rekab, the ruler of part of Beth-Hakkerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Kol-Chozeh, the ruler of part of Mitspah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Shelach by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of Dawid.

After him repaired Nachamayahu the son of Azbuwq, the ruler of the half part of Beth-Tzuwr, unto the place over against the sepulchres of Dawid, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.

After him repaired the Lawiytes, Rechuwm the son of Baniy. Next unto him repaired Chashabyahu, the ruler of the half part of Qeilah, in his part.

After him repaired their brethren, Bawuway the son of Chanadad, the ruler of the half part of Qeilah.

And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Yahushua, the ruler of Mitspah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.

After him Baruwk the son of Zabbay earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Elyashiyb the high priest.

After him repaired Maramoth the son of Uriyahu the son of Qots another piece, from the door of the house of Elyashiyb even to the end of the house of Elyashiyb.

And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.

After him repaired Binyamiyn and Chashuub over against their house. After him repaired Azaryahu the son of Maaseyahu the son of Ananyahu by his house.

After him repaired Binnuy the son of Chanadad another piece, from the house of Azaryahu unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.

Palal the son of Uzay, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedayahu the son of Paruwsh.

Moreover the Nathiyniym dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.

After them the Teqowites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.

From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.

After them repaired Tzadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shamayahu the son of Shakanyahu, the keeper of the east gate.

After him repaired Chananyahu the son of Shalamyahu, and Chanun the sixth son of Tsalaph, another piece. After him repaired Mashullam the son of Barachyahu over against his chamber.

After him repaired Malkiyahu the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nathiyniym, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphqad, and to the going up of the corner.

And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
