14:5
And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,
14:6
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Yaphia,
14:7
And Aliyshama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
14:8

The Invasion of the Valley of Rephaim

And when the Philistines heard that Dawid was anointed king over all Yashar'al, all the Philistines went up to seek Dawid. And Dawid heard of it, and went out against them.

And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
14:10

The Inquiry of the Oracle

14:11

The Breakthrough at Baal-perazim

So they came up to Baal-perazim; and Dawid smote them there. Then Dawid said, "Alahiym hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking of waters:" therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

Therefore Dawid inquired again of Alahiym; and Alahiym said unto him, "Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees."
14:15

The Acoustic Footsteps of the Heavenly Host

"And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for Alahiym is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines."
14:16
Dawid therefore did as Alahiym commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer.
14:17

The Global Dread of the King
